Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Accreditation
Groundworx Grabhire Ltd is very proud to be a (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) FORS Bronze Standard approved operator. Groundworx Grabhire Ltd has an extensive fleet of grab trucks ready to service our already established and new customers from all sectors.
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme encompassing all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. FORS helps fleet operators to measure and monitor performance and alter their operations to demonstrate best practice.
FORS has an extensive training programme with a variety of opportunities for both managers and drivers. To meet the FORS Standard, Groundworx Grabhire Ltd was required to demonstrate that it adheres to the accreditation process’s requirements including training of all drivers to have relevant card schemes and managers to hold all relevant transport accrediatations.
Within the Bronze Standard Accreditation Scheme, Groundworx Grabhire Ltd, together with FORS, ensures that all staff undergo approved continuous training and continued professional development.
The programme also includes induction, compliance, and vulnerable road user training. The accreditation process also consists of remedial and refresher training to ensure skills are fully embedded. The operations of the vehicles including all supplementary paperwork for maintenance and running have to be stored in line with best practice requirements at all times to demonstrate professional operations.
