What is Screened Topsoil?

Screened topsoil is soil that has undergone a screening process to remove large debris, stones, and other unwanted materials. The screening process involves passing the soil through a screener, that filters out all stones, rocks, and materials over 20mm in size. This results in a finer, more consistent product that is easy to work with and suitable for a wide range of landscaping and construction uses. The process not only improves the texture and consistency of the soil but also ensures that it’s free from contaminants, making it ideal for improving soil quality, laying turf, or preparing gardens for planting. With the screening process, you get a clean, debris-free topsoil that can be easily spread and compacted, creating a smooth and level surface for your project.
